Our friendship story began the way the best ones do: introduced by our moms. Both fabulous women who worked in the same office, they just knew that their daughters would make great friends. They were right. We met at Meredith’s high school graduation party, bonded over karaoke, and decided to become roommates at the University of Georgia that fall.
What followed was a friendship that’s spanned decades. From college roommates and sorority sisters to women with careers and families, we’ve shared all of life’s moments — big and small. For the longest time, Meredith was the one to say, “We should start a business together.” Recently, Christy was the one to say, “I think we should learn to play Mahjong!”
Together, we created Bamboo & Boxwoods — to connect, to play and to celebrate beauty in all its forms.
